Summer Ambrosia in a Bowl! Yummy Honey, Yogurt and Strawberries

A bowl of strawberries mixed with cream and honey.
  • Use one, 3-4 ounce container of non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 5-7 medium strawberries washed a diced. You can mix it up and use raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, or a mixture of your favorite sweet, juicy berries.
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon raw honey (don’t over shoot the runway with the honey as a little goes a long way).

This recipe is super simple and makes a refreshingly light summer meal.

  1. First, shine up one of your favorite bowls. After all, one must serve food in a lovely and honoring manner.
  2. After you’ve washed and dice the strawberries, set a few aside for garnish and place the remaining strawberries into the bowl. Lightly mash them, releasing their juice.
  3. Dollop the yogurt over the strawberries. The yogurt will look soft and pillowed, completely covering the berries.
  4. Using the back of a spoon, create a little well in the center of the yogurt into which you’ll place the honey.
  5. Drizzle ½ - 1 teaspoon of raw honey into the well. For a charming effect, add a thin strip of honeycomb and a sprig of mint, especially if you’re serving this treat at a party...even if it’s a party of one!
  6. Garnish with the remaining strawberries and enjoy!
